One of the reasons that affect the surface roughness of stainless steel fan impeller castings is that the molten metal penetrates into some of the gaps in the stainless steel surface. The crystal diameter, the average pore diameter of the surface, and the radius of curvature of the surface of the alloy liquid are important factors affecting the penetration depth of the molten metal. Therefore, in order to obtain a smooth stainless steel casting, it is necessary to reduce the crystal and filler particle diameter and reduce the surface pore diameter.

 

Or use some additives to fill in the larger pores and reduce the penetration of molten metal. In addition, the relationship between the temperature of the stainless steel and the casting temperature of the molten metal and the surface roughness of the casting. As the temperature and pouring temperature of the molten metal increase, the filling property of the molten metal is improved, the depth of penetration into the pores of the surface layer is increased, and the surface roughness of the casting of the stainless steel fan impeller is increased.

 

At the same time, it is necessary to modify the alloy, and use some fillers with better thermal conductivity to improve the cooling rate of the stainless steel fan impeller casting, so that the surface layer of the casting is finer to reduce the surface roughness of the casting.
