Detailed process characteristics of wear-resistant precision castings

The mechanical properties of wear-resistant precision castings are relatively high during the process of use, mainly because the melting point of the products is relatively high, in order to effectively prevent the cast steel from producing insufficient casting, shrinkage, shrinkage, cold separation and cracking. Defects such as sticky sand, in the process of use must be more complex than cast iron process measures.


Wear-resistant precision castings shrink more than their cast iron in use. In order to effectively prevent the shrinkage and shrinkage defects of the castings during use, the risers and cold irons and subsidies are used in the casting process. This allows sequential solidification. The construction of the gating system is simple and the dimensions of the section are larger than those of cast iron.


Wear-resistant precision castings will have a high degree of superheat due to the high temperature of their casting, and they need to remain liquid for a long time during use, and their fluidity can be improved during use. Generally, small, thin-walled and complex-shaped wear-resistant precision castings have a casting temperature of about 150 degrees Celsius, and the pouring temperature of large thick-walled castings is about 100 degrees higher than the melting point.
